Joel Bird

Joel Bird is a true creative with a diverse set of skills and a passion for low cost ingenious design. His expertise as a maker stems from years designing and contructing wooden buildings including his own studio in Margate. His passion for preserving the skills and philosophy of craft inspired him to write ‘The Table Maker’ & ‘The Book of Shed’. , TV work includes BBC’s ‘Your Garden Made Perfect’ & Channel 4’s ‘Your Garden Made Perfect’, & ‘Shed of the Year’ He is a lifelong artist, sculptor, musician and composer and his love of jazz fuelled an interest in all things vintage.
